Day 2: It's Raining Men.
Feb. 6th, 2013 01:47 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Who: Everyone!
Where: Everywhere around Hogwarts.
When: Wednesday, February 6th, 2013
Format: Go to town with whatever you'd like
Open/Closed: OPEN
After no repeat incidents on Tuesday, the staff of the school were no doubt feeling quite confident that the pranks were indeed over and done with. Professor Madeldore, in particular, seemed rather serene and at peace, thinking that the Valentine Box should do the trick to boost student and staff morale. Though no one has been called out as the culprit, the individual seemed to have chickened out of following through with more than one stunt. Only a handful of people--one professor, in particular--wore a wary grimace on his face, wide and unblinking eyes peering through the souls of all his students mistrustfully, and that was Professor Javert. For everyone else, there was a sigh of relief, and it seemed as if the cruel nuisance had passed.
But by late Wednesday afternoon, anyone who was unfortunate enough to hop upon a broom would see immediately just how very wrong that assumption had been. Hopefully they will realize something is amiss well before they hit the ground, or else suffer a swift trip to the infirmary yet again.
[OOC NOTE: Day Two of our first event at Les Warts! As described in our Out-of-Character Event Description, all brooms have gone haywire at Hogwarts and will remain unusable until late evening on Wednesday. Though they will initially comply long enough to let their rider hop on, after rising about ten feet into the air, they will buck and do whatever they can to veer into walls, twist spasmodically through the hallways, or throw their riders off.
This entire post will encompass anywhere within Hogwarts you'd like to use, but be certain to put the location in the subject line simply for convenience's sake.
As per the first incident, feel free to play as you like. A mean-spirited prank seems to be the culprit… But who might have done such a thing? Was it an outcast, seeking revenge? Was it your best friend, looking for a quick laugh? Or is it something else completely?
Make your assumptions, call others out. Those who seek the truth are most certainly allowed to dig as best as they can. Though one thing is for certain, the prank was certainly not very funny anymore.
All broken bones and bruises will be healed in the infirmary by Thursday morning.]
