Who: Everyone within the castle! Students and Staff alike!
Where: The Great Hall!
When: Valentine's Day morning during breakfast
Format: Whichever you prefer
Open/Closed: OPEN!
It was in the middle of breakfast when the headmaster rose to his feet, gathering the attention of the assembly before him. A gentle rise of his palm and the room went silent. For all of the rumors that spread or the general mystery that stepped so lightly at his heel, Madeldore was a man who still held the respect and adoration of most who associated with him.
A lingering pause, a soft smile, before he began.
"After the events of the following week, I felt it was only just to uproot those unsavory memories and replace them with something more dear. And what day would be more fitting than St. Valentine's Day, the holiday devoted to the spread of tenderness and true affection.
"Which is precisely why I've collected the valentines you have all written throughout the last few days and will distribute them to you now while we enjoy our morning meal."
A barely noticeable flick of his wand before a heap of red envelopes would fly noiselessly through the air towards their respective owners, gracefully spiraling down beside their plates. However, particularly naughty students may notice that the deep red of the envelopes looked less like valentines and much more similar in color to a very different sort of letter...
[OOC: That's right, folks! All of the valentines that were sent out have been enchanted (by one misbehaved student) to be transformed into Howlers, which means that everyone in the Hall will be able to hear exactly what was written and by whom. Feel free to still leave valentines in the OOC drop off box and they will still be delivered, but besides that enjoy hearing all that you never wanted to hear about your fellow students and staff!
There will be subthreads for each character in the game and the mods will reply with all of their valentines in obnoxious all caps.
