hospital wing
Who: Takashi Shiki and YOU
Where: the medical ward
When: January
Format: it's all good
Open/Closed: OPEN
Sitting on the sixth floor above the dormitories was the hospital wing. A huge room broken apart by curtains, beds and dressers, it was brightly lit from several long windows overlooking the courtyard and by a few floating candelabras, and faintly smelled of lemons and something almost like peppers. There were several chairs of mis-matched designs and various layers of comfort, the squishiest chairs being close to deep set bookcases filled with scrolls and books and various odd knickknacks that might actually have some medical properties to them. The books and scrolls could be taken from the wing for a week; they were all enchanted to return to the shelves unless the reader was given special permission due to their studies.
Opposite the bookshelves were several doors. One opened up to a room filled with medicines, ointments and herbs, some of them so rare that only certain connections made it possible for Takashi to own, let alone have them stockpiled. There was a smaller door in that room that led into a low room filled with all the equipment needed to make his own medicines. One of the other doors led to a small sleeping room just in case he had to be there due to a student's health. The bed looked like it had gotten a lot of use and - like many medical professionals no matter if they were Muggle or magical - it was piled with scrolls and missives about the latest medical breakthroughs. The last door was enspelled to the point that only three people could open - Takashi himself, the Headmaster and the head elf. It was his office and he did take his privacy a little to the extreme.
The Healer himself could usually be found reading in one of the chairs by the bookshelves, a hot cup of tea floating at his elbow and piles of parchment around him. Sometimes he might have fallen asleep among his piles of books and scrolls, other times he was pacing and talking rapidly at a house elf, usually about the school's menu. Those times he wasn't around, there was a bell sitting on top of a book entitled 'Neurology'. A simple ring of the bell, and he would appear, though depending on what time of the day it was, he may not be wearing the white lab-coat he was usually scuffing around in.

Day shift
Hey look, you've got a prospective intern.
He's nowhere to be seen when she arrives upstairs, so she rings the bell.]
Hello? Mr. Takashi?
oho~ awesome!
Ah? What's wrong, miss..?
no subject
[Yeah, that's not usually what Healers do. Why is he covered in flour?]
...nothing's wrong, really, I just wanted to know if I could maybe get some training in healing? But you look kind of busy, so I can come back later...
[Smooth, Punzie.]
no subject
I'm not that busy, so please, take a seat.
[ He nods at the chairs by the bookshelves. ]

[ Takashi took a seat opposite of her, leaning forward a little. ]
However, I am going to ask a few questions that might seem mean or rude but it is to only make sure that you're sure. I do not want to push a student into this field if they are not sure of it themselves.

[She's pretty sure she can handle this. Maybe.]
